Lifespan Premier Choice members may also access the full Tufts Health Plan network of more than 25,000 providers in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, according to a news release.

Lifespan Premier Choice offers premium savings of up to 15 percent compared to similar plans in the market.

"This is truly a new and unique plan design for Rhode Island that helps employers control their healthcare costs while giving their employees and their families the choice to see any doctor or hospital from the entire Tufts Health Plan network," Tufts Health Plan CEO James Roosevelt Jr. said in the release.

Lifespan Premier Choice will be offered to Rhode Island employers beginning July 1.
