Louisville, Ky.-based Humana and St. Petersburg, Fla.-based JSA Medical Group partnered for one primary care practice in Humana's Florida Medicare Advantage network.
The practice will be operated by JSA — a DaVita Medical Group — and will only accept certain Humana Medicare Advantage plans and traditional Medicare. The facility will be in Sarasota, Fla.
"As our healthcare needs change, it's important for Medicare beneficiaries to find healthcare that can consistently meet those needs," Deb Galloway, central Florida Medicare president for Humana, said in a prepared statement. "Humana has a solid Medicare history, so we bring strong capabilities to the transformational healthcare relationship with JSA Medical Group."
