The Everett (Wash.) Clinic will network with Seattle-based Regence BlueShield for 2017 health plans, overriding contract disputes that could have disrupted care for 69,000 patients, reports Komo News.
The resolution allows policyholders of Regence Medicare Advantage preferred provider organization plans, health maintenance organization plans and commercial plans to continue in-network care with Everett Clinic providers next year.
Regence and The Everett Clinic expect the contract to continue throughout 2017, sheltering patients from thousands in out-of-pocket payments and potential coverage gaps, according to the report.
