Health insurer Aetna will reduce the number of Pennsylvania counties it offers small group Affordable Care Act plans in next year, Aetna spokesperson Walt Cherniak told Becker's Hospital Review.
The Hartford, Conn.-based insurer will discontinue small group plans in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
The change is effective Jan. 1.
