8 Humana executives sell $66.4M in company stock

Eight executives from Louisville, Ky.-based Humana sold a combined 323,648 shares of company stock on Tuesday for $66.4 million, according to the Courier-Journal.

The stock sale came a week after Humana and Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna announced they had mutually terminated their $37 billion merger agreement. Humana spokesman Tom Noland told the Courier-Journal that executives "had limited opportunities to engage in stock transactions for the last two years owing to the Aetna transaction." Now that the deal is off, some executives are selling stock.

Here are the eight Humana executives who cashed out shares on Tuesday.

1. James Murray, senior vice president and COO, sold 118,971 shares for $24.4 million

2. Bruce Broussard, president and CEO, sold 104,256 shares for $21.4 million

3. David Jones Jr., member of the board of directors, sold 27,000 shares for $5.5 million

4. Timothy J. Huval, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, sold 25,529 shares for $5.2 million

5. Christopher M. Todorff, senior vice president and general counsel, sold 24,140 shares for $4.9 million

6. Heidi Margulis, senior vice president for corporate affairs, sold 13,452 shares for $2.8 million

7. Jody Bilney, senior vice president and chief consumer officer, sold 6,087 shares for $1.2 million

8. Cynthia M. Zipperle, vice president, controller and chief accounting officer, sold 4,213 shares for $870,606
