St. Luke's Magic Valley patient charged for breaking into helipad

A 43-year-old male patient at Twin Falls, Idaho-based St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center faces four misdemeanor charges and is being held in the Twin Falls County Jail for jumping a fence to the hospital's helicopter pad, according to a report from MagicValley.com.

Police arrived at the scene after the patient, Michael Lynn Ray was found inside the helipad Monday pacing back and forth, according to the report. Mr. Ray would not follow police directions and jumped back over a railing, running to the hospital emergency room. When the patient charged at the officers in what police say was a "tackling position," they hit him with a Taser and took him into custody, according to the report.

Mr. Ray is now in jail with a $10,000 bond, according to the report.
