UC San Diego to Build Medical Center for Advanced Surgery, Cancer Care
UC San Diego Health System plans to build a new $664 million campus housing centers for cancer treatment, advanced surgery and women and infants, according to the La Jolla Light.
The 10-story, 245-bed Jacobs Medical Center, expected to open by 2016, will house pioneering research and educational space for "the next generation of innovators and leaders," said UCSD Chancellor Marye Anne Fox.
