Pennsylvania Hospital CEO to Retire
Richard L. Jones, president and CEO of Abington Memorial Hospital in Warminster, Pa., announced that he will retire on Jan. 31, 2010, according to a report in the Bucks County Courier Times.Mr. Jones has led Abington to become one of the biggest inpatient hospitals in the Philadelphia region, including the construction of the Lenfest Pavilion and the acquisition of the Warminster Hospital, according to the report.
A national search for Mr. Jones' replacement is starting, and Abington expects to have the position filled by the end of the year.
