Passion, talent fuel ReviveHealth's record growth

ReviveHealth, an integrated marketing communications firm specializing solely in health and healthcare, experienced record growth in 2014, adding 23 employees, 42 clients and an office in Minneapolis.

"This year was possible because of the great clients who put their faith and confidence in us," Brandon Edwards, CEO of ReviveHealth, said in a statement, "and those clients joined us because of the world-class team we're blessed to have. I don't think there's any doubt that growth follows talent in our industry, and that's especially true in the dynamic and complex healthcare industry."

ReviveHealth already had two office locations — in Santa Barbara, Calif., and Nashville, Tenn. — prior to adding the Minneapolis office last year. According to Mr. Edwards, choosing Nashville and Minneapolis as additional office sites wasn't driven by client location, but rather by attempting to build the strongest team possible.

"We open offices in pursuit of talent," says Mr. Edwards. "The right people attract the clients."

Currently, ReviveHealth has 46 employees, most of who are based in Nashville, with about 15 in California and three holding down the new Minneapolis office.

This is remarkable growth, as the firm opened up in September 2009. It spun out of a healthcare firm inside another agency, but "saw a great opportunity to spread our wings" thanks to the changes coming from healthcare reform. Mr. Edwards and the team saw that ReviveHealth could fill a need in the industry by focusing on the service side of healthcare — specializing in healthcare systems, services, technology and healthy living, he says.

Now, ReviveHealth is a full-service integrated firm offering a "completely cohesive approach" to communications for health systems and other organizations, Mr. Edwards says. Its clients include for-profit and nonprofit health systems, academic medical centers, hospitals and physician organizations as well as health IT and health services companies.

The firm has earned national recognition for it approach, winning "Small Agency of the Year" from PRWeek and "Best Agency to Work For in America" from The Holmes Report in 2014.
