Orthopaedic & Spine Specialists in Pennsylvania Building Own Hospital
Orthopaedic & Spine Specialists in York Township, Pa., has broken ground on a $21 million orthopedic hospital neighboring the practice, according to the York Daily Record.The practice says the 30-bed hospital, scheduled for completion in 2011, is needed because 23 percent of patients who need orthopedic surgery have had to leave the area.
In the same area, WellSpan, an integrated health system in York, Pa., is about to break ground on a 72-bed hospital including 25 orthopedic beds.
