Ohio Health System Cuts 71 Jobs
Toledo, Ohio-based Mercy Health Partners has cut 71 jobs in an effort to reduce spending by $15.9 million this year, according to a report by the Toledo Blade.The layoffs will primarily affect employees not involved with direct patient care and will include employees at seven of the system's facilities.
Laid-off employees will be encouraged to apply for open positions within the system.
