Minnesota Hospital CEO to Retire Within the Next Year

Ken Bank, president and CEO of Northfield (Minn.) Hospital & Clinics, announced that he will be retiring from the hospital within the next year, according to a report in the Northfield News.

Mr. Bank has served as CEO since 1988 and has been working with Northfield Hospital's board of trustees for the past 18 months to develop a plan of succession, according to the report. As part of the plan, the board is selecting a professional search firm to help with finding a replacement president and CEO.

Mr. Bank graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, and prior to coming to Northfield Hospital, he served in an administrative position at Tucson (Ariz.) Medical Center, according to the report.
