Milwaukee Medical Group Names Mayo Executive as COO

Aurora Medical Group in Milwaukee, Wis., has named Brent Phillips as its new COO, according to a report in The Business Journal of Milwaukee.
Mr. Phillips, a senior executive at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., will start at his new position on Oct. 19. He will oversee all operational functions of the 960-physician group, according to the report.
While at Mayo, Mr. Phillips served a dual role as administrator of its international office and the operations coordinating group. He was also the executive director of a 2,000-physician group in Norfolk, Va., prior to joining Mayo.
