Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill., has broken ground on a $145 million expansion project, according to a report by The State Journal-Register.
The project includes the construction of a patient tower with 114 private rooms, a new conference and training center, new front entrance and lobby and expanded surgical facilities.
Construction is expected to be completed by January 2016, according to the report.
