Alpharetta, Ga.-based MedAssets released its second quarter and six-month financial results for the period ended June 30.
MedAssets' total net revenue of Q2 2014 increased 2.7 percent from Q2 2013, from $170.7 million to $175.4 million. Additionally, net income of Q2 2014 was 29.7 percent higher than in Q2 2013, increasing from $5.1 million to $6.6 million.
Comparing the six-month period ended June 30, 2014 to the same period in 2013, MedAssets' total net revenue increased 0.8 percent, from $343.6 million to $346.3 million. Net income for the first six months of 2014 was 11.6 percent higher than in 2013, at $14.3 million compared with $12.8 million.
