Mark Hamm, MBA, has served as CEO of EmCare Hospital Medicine since 2010.
Prior to joining EmCare, Mr. Hamm served as COO and vice president of hospital medicine and emergency physician operations at HCA Physician Services. He earned his MBA in healthcare management and strategic marketing from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Hamm has been quoted in several journals and has contributed to articles on improving the patient care path from the emergency department to their inpatient stay. He is also the creator of EmCare's Door-To-Discharge service, which aims to improve physician communication, decrease ED boarding times and improve patient flow across the hospital.
