Construction for a planned $285 million Kaiser Permanente hospital in Hillsboro, Ore., is scheduled to start summer 2009, according to the Daily Journal of Commerce of Portland, Ore.

Plans for the hospital were postponed indefinitely last year.

The start of the construction for the Hillsboro hospital will correspond with completion of construction on a Kaiser Permanente hospital currently under development in Clackamas, Ore., according to the report.
