Connecticut Hospital CEO to Retire
Laurence Tanner, CEO of the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, Conn., will retire in early 2010, according to a report in The Bristol Press.Mr. Tanner expects to officially retire between mid-January and the end of February, according to the report. He sits on the boards of several community and healthcare-oriented boards and plans to stay on the boards after his retirement.
During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Tanner has overseen several changes at the hospital, including an affiliation with Bradley Memorial Hospital and the Hospital for Special Care.
