Community Health Systems has reassigned Tim Trottier, CEO of its 369-bed Easton (Pa.) Hospital, to a business development position at its Philadelphia-area offices, according to a report by The Express-Times.
The system has named Aaron Hazzard interim CEO while it searches for a permanent replacement. The next CEO will be the hospital's fourth since Nov. 2007.
Most recently, Mr. Hazzard served as interim CEO at Community Health's 270-bed Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn. He was previously interim CEO at Easton Hospital until Mr. Trottier was appointed last August.
