Clorox has announced Benno Dorer, executive vice president and COO of cleaning, international and corporate strategy, will become CEO Nov. 20 of this year.
Mr. Dorer will replace Donald Knauss, who will step down as CEO but will continue to serve as chairman and a member of the board in a newly created role: executive chairman. Mr. Knauss has been Clorox's CEO since 2006.
Mr. Dorer has been with Clorox since 2005 and became executive vice president and COO in early 2013, according to a report from Forbes.
