Cincinnati Children's Hospital CEO Retires
Jim Anderson has retired as CEO of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, according to a report by the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Since Mr. Anderson became CEO in 1996, the hospital's operating budget has more than tripled to some $1.6 billion, and since the hospital started collecting and using clinical data in the last decade, surgical site infections are down by two-thirds.
Michael Fisher, Mr. Anderson's successor, will oversee the phase-in of Children's $30 million electronic medical records system in mid-January.
