CEO and CFO Fired at Illinois Hospital for Violating Company Policy

St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Ill., has fired CEO Lowell Jones and CFO Dennis Herzig for allegedly violation company policy, according to a report in the Belleville News-Democrat.
Officials from Hospital Sisters Health System, which operates St. Joseph's, did not release other details related to the firing of Mr. Jones and Mr. Herzig but noted that the violation for which the men were fired had no affect on patient care, according to the report.
Mr. Jones was brought on as CEO of St. Joseph's a year ago; Mr. Herzig has been the hospital's CFO for 15 years.
