Board of California's Tri-City Medical Center Cancels Firing of CEO
The board that governs Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., has reversed its decision to fire CEO Larry Anderson, according to a report by the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The vote came after the board chairwoman walked out of the board meeting, saying she would resign, when another board member had accused her of illegally firing Mr. Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was hired by the 358-bed hospital in Jan. 2009, after the board fired CEO Arthur Gonzalez.
