Arizona Hospitals Expand to Meet Patient Demand
Many hospitals in Arizona's southwest valley are expanding to meet patient demand, according to a Republic report.West Valley Hospital in Goodyear, Ariz., is planning to build a three-story tower and two surgical suites, which would add 92,000 square feet to the hospital. In addition, Phoenix-based Banner Health plans to open Banner Health Center at Verrado — a $7.5 million, 12,500-square-foot facility in Buckeye, Ariz. — this fall.
