The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) will be holding its annual Healthcare Leadership Advocacy Day on Wednesday, March 4th.
Along with the Healthcare Trustees of New York State and several regional partners, HANYS will be advocating to New York lawmakers about the state's upcoming budget proposal, according to the HANYS website.
The groups hope to save the billions of healthcare dollars that will be on the chopping block for lawmakers this year.
The website notes that personal engagment with legislators is key, which is why it is essential to meet with them in person in Albany.
