Bozeman Deaconess Hospital Faces Lawsuit From Fired Whistle-Blowing Employee

Bozeman (Mont.) Deaconess Hospital is facing a lawsuit from a former employee who claims he was fired for being a whistle-blower, according to a Bozeman Daily Chronicle report.

Lawrence Slate, a former medical physicist with BDH, claims he was fired after reporting concerns about the hospital's management of nuclear waste to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and lodging concerns about unnecessary use of radiation treatment at the hospital, according to the report.

BDH has not yet filed a response, according to the report.
