Marshfield Clinic seeks workers for Eau Claire hospital

Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic has started recruiting for its new 44-bed hospital in Eau Claire, Wis., according to a WEAU report.

The clinic put on a job fair Tuesday as it seeks workers for the hospital, which is slated to have an attached cancer care center. Marshfield Clinic expects to post full-time and part-time positions for the new hospital "in the coming months," the report states.

"We are looking for the qualified people. We are looking for people that are patient centered, people who enjoy what they do and enjoy coming to work," Recruiting and Retention Manager Landen Marschke told WEAU.

Overall, Marshfield Clinic seeks to hire at least approximately 300 employees, including at least 100 registered nurses, for the hospital and cancer care center, according to the report. The clinic expects the cancer care center to open this fall, followed by the hospital next year.
