Purchase of Scott County Hospital in Kansas Sees Further Delays

The closing date on the asset purchase agreement for Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tenn., has been postponed, according to an Ihoneida Independent Herald report.

According to the report, the projected closing date, Dec. 31, 2012, was pushed back because the required financial documents from SM Promen of Tennessee, the company purchasing the hospital, were not received in time.

According to the report, the asset purchase agreement stipulates that both parties must close the deal no later than Jan. 31, 2013.
