Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, owner of Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif., completed (pdf) the purchase of Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital.

Los Robles Hospital and TOSH began sharing information in a due diligence process in July after physicians of TOSH, who own nearly half of the hospital, voted in favor of an agreement.

According to the release, the sale of TOSH by investor-physicians and Trophy Club, Texas-based Cirrus Health allows for a natural progression toward expanded healthcare services needed for the current healthcare environment.
