Fishermen’s Hospital and Quorum Finalize Management Agreement

Marathon, Fla.’s Fisherman’s Hospital has finalized the transition from its previous 25-year lease with Health Management Associates to a new agreement with Tenn.,-based Quorum Health Resources, according to a report by the Florida Keys Keynoter.
The Fishermen’s board’s Aug. 2 vote will have Quorum overseeing the transition and managing the hospital’s day-to-day operations starting July 12, 2011, according to the report.
