Abington Hospital, Holy Redeemer Health to Form Pennsylvania Regional Health System

Abington (Pa.) Health and Huntingdon Valley, Pa.-based Holy Redeemer Health System have announced their intention to create a new regional health system.

The new health system would serve as a parent company that would guide both Abington Health and Holy Redeemer in reaching their goals. These goals include committing resources to improve the health of the community with high quality and efficient integrated healthcare.

Abington Health and Holy Redeemer have been discussing creating this parent company for quite some time, according to the release. The next steps include the required due diligence and regulatory reviews.
