SG Property Services, a property management firm, finalized its purchase of WellStar Medical Group Douglasville (Ga.) Medical Center and Prestley Mill Medical Center, also in Douglasville, for $7.5 million.
SGPS officials said they plan to lease the facilities to interested providers.
Douglasville Medical Center is housed on WellStar Douglas Hospital's campus in Douglasville, roughly half a mile from Prestley Mill Medical Center.
Atlanta-based providers Northside Hospital and Emory Healthcare currently lease space within Prestley Mill Medical Center.
