Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury, Minn., is a collaboration between HealthEast Care System and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, both in St. Paul, Minn.

Here are 10 things to know about Woodwinds Health Campus.

1. Scott North serves as the president for all of HealthEast's acute-care hospitals, including Woodwinds Health Campus.

2. John Kvasnicka, MD, serves as the executive medical director.

3. Woodwinds Health Campus is on 30 acres and has 86 beds.

4. Woodwinds Health Campus has 557 employees.

5. Woodwinds Health Campus recorded $327 million in gross revenue and a net income of $22.2 million in 2010, as reported by the American Hospital Directory.

6. Woodwinds discharged a total of 7,225 employees in 2011. The hospital performed 3,000 inpatient and 3,200 outpatient surgeries as well as 1,800 births last year. Additionally, the hospital had 26,100 outpatient visits in 2011.

7. Woodwinds Health Campus was named as one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation by Thomson Reuters in 2012.

8. The hospital opened its doors in August 2000.

9. Modern Maturity magazine has named Woodwinds as one of the friendliest hospitals in the nation.

10. Woodwinds Health Campus is home to The Natural Care Center, which provides chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage and other healing arts therapies.
