5. According to the most recent financials posted in the American Hospital Directory, Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center recorded gross charges of more than $407 million in 2011. Net income totaled more than $12 million for a 3.0 percent profit margin.

6. The hospital's estimated patient values for 2011 include 1,200 inpatient surgeries; 1,100 outpatient surgeries; 1,700 births; and 7,100 outpatient visits, according to the American Hospital Directory.
