Ohio's EMH Regional Healthcare Merges With Cardiology, Primary Care Group

EMH Regional Healthcare, which operates EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria, Ohio, will merge with Ohio Heart Center and Ohio Medical Group, according to a Morning Journal report.

Ohio Heart Center, a 22 cardiologist heart group, and Ohio Medical Group, a 24 physician primary care group, merged in 1999.

As part of the agreement, the primary care practice will continue to operate as Ohio Medical Group and the cardiologists will become employees of North Ohio Heart.
