North Carolina Cardiology Group Merges With Carolinas HealthCare's Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute
Heart Group of the Carolinas, based in Concord, N.C., has merged with Carolinas HealthCare System's Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, N.C., according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.The 10-physician group will come under the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute umbrella, taking on its name. Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute includes Sanger Clinic, Charlotte Cardiology Associates and the Carolinas Heart and Vascular Institute.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
