North Carolina Cardiology Group Joins WakeMed Health & Hospitals

Raleigh (N.C.) Cardiology Associates has joined WakeMed Health & Hospitals' WakeMed Faculty Physicians, based in Raleigh, effective Oct. 1, according to a report by NBC 17 News.
The group and the hospital system have worked together for many years, with RCA physicians playing an integral role in the development and growth of WakeMed's Heart & Vascular program, according to the report.
The merger is one of many in a national trend of cardiology practices joining hospitals.
