Gwinnett Medical Center in Georgia Welcomes its First Residents

Gwinnett Medical Center of Lawrenceville, Ga., has announced the opening of the Strickland Family Medicine Center where its first class of five medical residents will begin seeing patients.

The program is supported by GMC's Board of Directors, the Georgia Board of Regents, the Georgia Physicians Task Force and The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The new 9,400-square-foot Family Practice facility has 10 exam rooms and two rooms equipped for procedures. Graduate medical education faculty will work alongside the residents at the center as well.
