Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tenn., has announced plans to acquire East Tennessee Medical Group for $24 million, according to a Knoxville News Sentinel report.
The Alcoa-based practice includes more than 40 physicians and includes primary care and 10 specialty services. It will maintain its current office after the deal is finalized with the 304-bed Blount Memorial, which is expected in October.
