Bellin Health Care System in Green Bay, Wis., has developed a thriving side business providing turnkey retail health clinics for other health systems, according to a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The health system, which includes 242-bed Bellin Memorial Hospital, has 35 FastCare clinics open or under construction and expects to have 50 to 60 open in Wisconsin and six other states by the end of this year.

Bellin directs construction and design, provides furnishings and signs, and launches a marketing campaign for each FastCare clinic. Client healthcare systems operate the clinic, paying Bellin a monthly fee.
