Why this company grooms its employees to quit

The founders of ListenTrust want to equip their employees with the tools to achieve goals that extend beyond their company, so they tell potential candidates during the hiring process that they want to help them quit, according to Forbes.

ListenTrust is a bilingual sales and customer service company, and their personal development program is known as DreamTrust. As part of the program, employees are connected with upper management for one-on-one mentorship, provided with online trainings and sent to live events that help them identify goals and eventually reach them.

The program is comprised of six "dream pillars" that highlight the different areas of focus in which employees want to grow: wealth, health, happiness, relationship, career and time off. By understanding that their employees have goals that may reach beyond ListenTrust, and helping them work toward those goals, ListenTrust leadership has found that their employees are happier and more productive, making the initiative beneficial for both employer and employees.
