Trump encourages speech attendees to 'press everybody' on ACA repeal, replace

As President Donald Trump nears his 100-days milestone in the Oval Office, he has vowed to swiftly address healthcare, reports Politico.

Last month, the GOP's ACA replacement plan was pulled from the House floor due to lack of approval. But during a recent visit to Kenosha, Wis.-based tool manufacturer Snap-on, the president indicated healthcare reform is forthcoming and continues to be a priority in his legislative agenda, which also includes tax reform and infrastructure, reports Politico.

President Trump urged attendees in Wisconsin to call their representative and "press everybody" to support Republican legislation to repeal and replace the ACA, according to the report President Trump said he would work with Congress to pass tax reform after an ACA replacement is established.

"We wanna get that approval," President Trump said, according to the report. "And it just makes the tax reform easier, and it makes it better. It's gonna make it steeper. It's gonna be bigger, and that's what we wanna do."
