The American Association for Physician Leadership appointed Anthony Slonim, MD, editor-in-chief of its bimonthly Physician Leadership Journal magazine and its daily Physician Leadership Library online knowledge hub.

Here are four points:

1. Dr. Slonim, who is president and CEO of Reno, Nev.-based Renown Health, will oversee an editorial board, comprised of certified physician executives from around the world.

2. The magazine and knowledge hub offer case studies, original reporting, practical advice and thought leadership to physician executives.

3. The editorial board will review submitted manuscripts and help set the agenda for areas of coverage.

4. Dr. Slonim is the nation's first quadruple board-certified physician — in internal medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine critical care and pediatric critical care. He has led Renown Health since July 2014.
