St. Vincent Health System in Arkansas Cuts 50 Jobs
St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock, Ark., has laid off 29 employees and eliminated another 21 open positions, according to a KTHV report.
Health system officials said the layoffs are part of an effort to trim its budget by $12 million, according to the report. The layoffs and job cuts, none of which affected positions involved in patient care, are expected to save the system about $2.5 million.
St. Vincent has roughly 3,000 employees.
