North Carolina Hospital Wins State Approval for $208M Expansion

The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greenboro, N.C., has won state approval for a $208.5 million expansion project that will feature larger ORs, patient rooms and ED space, according to a release from Moses Cone.

Moses Cone Health System, the hospital's parent, is still working on specifications and other preliminary work for the project.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2011, to be completed in 2015.
