New Surgical Hospital Opens in Pennsylvania

Advanced Surgical Hospital of Washington (County) in North Franklin, Pa., has opened, according to a Pittsburgh Business Times report.

The facility has 14 private rooms, four ORs, an MRI and an 8,000-square-foot rehabilitation area. It will initially perform elective orthopedic surgeries and rehab, but eventually may expand.

The facility's physician investors are members of the Advanced Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation medical practice, according to the report.
