New Pennsylvania Hospital Receives $290M Financing Plan Approval

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has approved a $292.5 million mortgage loan to build a new hospital in East Norriton, Pa., according to a press release from HUD.

HUD will insure the new loan for New Regional Medical Center, a partnership between Albert Einstein Healthcare Network and Montgomery Hospital Medical Center.

The acute care hospital will feature 146-beds, including 96 surgical beds, a 22-bed intensive care unit, a 20-bed obstetrical unit. and an eight-bed neonatal intensive care unit, and is expected to support 2,750 full-time positions.
