New HFMA Board Chair Carol Friesen assumes role: 4 notes
Carol A. Friesen stepped into her role as chair of the Healthcare Financial Management Association's board of directors.
Here are four notes:
1. Ms. Friesen is the vice president of health system services at Bryan Health in Lincoln, Neb.
2. Previously, she served as president and CEO of the Crete (Neb.) Area Medical Center and as CFO of Boone County Health Center in Albion, Neb.
3. She has been an HFMA member since 1999, serving on numerous committees, including the National Advisory Council and the Early Careerist Task Force.
4. She is a recipient of the HFMA Medal of Honor.
