Jack Welch Management Institute, Jefferson University design MBA for physicians

The Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University in Herndon, Va., is teaming up with Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University's College of Population Health to offer an online Master of Business Administration designed specifically to prepare physicians to meet the challenges of healthcare today.

The new MBA pathway includes a combination of courses addressing critical issues in healthcare — rising costs, economic inefficiencies and increased regulation — as well as those addressing key leadership, change management and business skills.
