Community Hospital Corporation promotes and builds corporate team

Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) announces promotions and new corporate staff. CHC owns, manages and consults with hospitals through three distinct organizations – CHC Hospitals, CHC Consulting and CHC ContinueCARE, which share a common purpose to guide, support and enhance the mission of community hospitals and healthcare providers.


Laurie Breedlove, CHC’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, said, “We are excited about new talent and rewarding staff who are dedicated to improving and sustaining the community hospitals and healthcare providers we serve across the country.”

April Myers has been promoted from Regional Vice President of Post-Acute Services to Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Post-Acute Services. April focuses on improving operations of CHC’s long-term acute care hospitals. Prior to joining CHC in January of 2016, April was Market Chief Executive for Kindred’s California hospitals in La Mirada, San Gabriel Valley, and Santa Ana.

Anne Block has been promoted from Director of Marketing Communications to Vice President of Marketing Communications. She has been with CHC since October 2012. Anne focuses on building CHC’s brand, reputation and thought leadership, and provides marketing assistance to CHC hospitals and client hospitals. Anne received the 2014 CHC RISE Award representing the values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship and Excellence.

Michelle Cunningham joined CHC in July 2016 as Director of Total Compensation. She is responsible for managing CHC’s total compensation programs, including base and incentive compensation plans, policies, and related benefits. Prior to joining CHC’s Human Resources team, Michelle worked as an independent consultant providing compensation consulting to Tenet Healthcare, HCC Insurance Holdings, and Neiman Marcus.

Lisette Hudson has been promoted from Director of Planning to Vice President of Planning. She has been with CHC since July 2008. Lisette leads the planning team and function that serves CHC’s owned and managed hospitals, in addition to those hospitals that participate in and benefit from CHC’s Community Health Needs Assessment services.

Jennifer Hayes has been promoted from Staff Accountant to Senior Staff Accountant of Post-Acute Services. Jennifer supports CHC’s growing number of long-term acute care hospitals across the country and has been with CHC since June 2014.

Miguel Moreira joined CHC in June 2016 as Senior Staff Accountant of Post-Acute Services. He supports CHC’s long-term acute care hospitals. In prior roles, Miguel worked as Senior Accountant for KingsIsle Entertainment, Inc., and as Financial Reporting Analyst for Medical City Dallas Hospital. He is a CPA candidate.
